A great opportunity for the aspiring filmmakers in Asia to showcase their creative world globally “20th Jogja-NETPAC Asian Film Festival” is soon to kick off this November 2025. It is a premium film festival that takes place in Indonesia. The eligibility of the application, their deadline and the amount to pay for the application is also unveiled in detail on the official website.
What is Eligibility?
- Only Asian and Indonesian films will be accepted
- Feature Films (over 45 mins), Short Films (under 45 minutes) – narrative, documentary, experimental or animated form will be accepted
- The films that are submitted must be produced after 1 January 2024
- Must have English subtitles [Not for films with no dialogues]
- Only DCP or digital formats will be accepted to screen. DVD or Blu-Ray format of the films will not be screened.
- All the films must be submitted via FilmFreeway – https://filmfreeway.com/JAFFJogja

On the official website it has been stated that the notification date is on 15 October 2025, that is the qualified movies for the festival will be unfurled on this day. The film festival will take place from 29 November to 6 December 2025 in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
