Yulo had already finished the qualification round in first place with 14.600, leaving her in a good spot going into the end. Yulo’s younger brother Eldrew, who scored 13.966 in the qualifying, was also in the final.

This will provide Yulo with more chances to pick up more medals in Nagoya. His brother Eldrew Yulo will also be joining the larger Philippine gymnastics campaign. Eldrew scored 12.233 points in the final of floor exercise and placed seventh.
