A Tearful Farewell to the Oldest Theatre of Taiwan “Xin Fuzhen Cinema”

Theaters are some of the common public places where people gather and unite to celebrate the creative works of filmmakers of their hometown or from the international regions. It is one of the important places which underwent a huge transformation during the past few decades. During such drastic changes some of the oldest and traditional places are wiped off by the new methods. Due to such fast growing entertainment and movie watching habits the 120 year old theatre “Xin Fuzhen Cinema” will be closed permanently from February 13, 2025. This heartbreaking message has been told officially by the theatre on their facebook page.

The ardent fans of that theatre expressed their emotional notes on the comment box sections, ‘Full of memories, looking forward to seeing each other again’. Some of the movie watchers have stated that the quality and maintenance of the theatre is not upto the mark.

The administration of theatre has also announced regarding the unused discount packages which can be utilised before the end of the February 13, 2025.
