Today, on 24 June 2025 Ahamo has posted a tweet on their X account stating that they have finalised after discussions with ANYCOLOR to withdraw their sponsorship from ‘Nijisanji Koshien 2025’ due to various circumstances but the exact reasons are not reported properly. Some reports underpin that the sudden change of decision by Ahamo might have happened due to the recent controversies that are swirling around Nijisanji. To avoid indirect brand exposure from any risk or backlash they could receive due to the closer relationship with VTubers, this withdrawal decision might be carried out. As a result of cancelation, the event which was all set to commence on 25 June 2025 has been canceled.
