Amazon has decided to end The Wheel of Time after only three seasons, upsetting the show’s fans. After the third season ended on April 17, the decision set off a wave of criticism online. Ironically, The Affair was praised by critics and sold well worldwide, but lack of popularity with Americans and the sky-high cost of shooting caused its early demise. Canceling the show after three seasons was the decision Amazon made, although ratings kept getting better — from 81% in Season 1 to 97% in Season 3.
