FC Barcelona Asia Tour Schedule Revealed

Barcelona, under the tutelage of Hansi Flick, will run their path in Asia, where they will first play in Japan and then in two other matches in South Korea. The tour is tactically a step forward in solidifying business relations as well as reaching out to their numerous fans in the Asian continent, a number that is in the millions in both countries.

The inaugural match will pit Barcelona against Vissel Kobe at Noevir Stadium on July 27, where the kickoff time will be set at 7:00 PM Japan Time. It is quite a special meeting since it is the third time the teams face each other, because during the last time they did it in 2019 and 2023, Barcelona won in each case.

Commercial Partnership Drives FC Barcelona Asia Return

The Blaugrana Tour in Asia Editions by Philips Ambilight TV, as sponsored by Philips, is the tour that demonstrates the commercial effort of Barcelona in Asian markets. Korean firm D-DRIVE.Co came in as the main organizer, facing a Japanese fixture with YASUDA Group coming in as a partner, which illustrates the business connectivity that the club is experiencing in the region.

The arrangements of broadcasting suggest the media presence of Barcelona, and the Japanese match will be broadcast by DAZN, whereas the Korean matches will be shown by TV Chosun and Disney+. These alliances highlight the business worth of the Barcelona brand in Asian land.

The place also sells tickets based on the region, as the Rakuten Ticket is responsible for Japanese sales and the NOL Ticket for Korean purchases. This specific strategy portrays the knowledge that Barcelona has of the various market dynamics in Asian countries.
