BLACKPINK’s ‘Jump’ Reaches third No.1 on Spotify Global

K-pop sensation BLACKPINK has made history once again.The phenomenon, which is BLACKPINK’s last single, “Jump,” official hit number one on Spotify’s Daily Top Songs Global chart on Sunday, according to their agency YG Entertainment  making them the first K-Pop Group with three number one hits on the global streaming site.BLACKPINK’s other song chart-toppers, “Pink Venom” and “Shut Down,” both came out in 2022, with “Pink Venom” releasing first in August and “Shut Down” coming out five months later.Not only has BLACKPINK maintained their acclaims as a dominant globally presences but provided the world with a new side to their music styles as demonstrated from their brand new single.This version showcases an unusual sound, guitar riffs inspired from western films below BLACKPINK’s fierce traditional style.

YG Entertainment specifically noted with this release Jump’s vocals for each of the four members: “After Jump, in future releases, we want to present Blackpink in the best possible way and show each member’s powerful vocals.That way will show something no one has seen before.We know our fans will love picturing this presentation”.Released on Friday, multiples of 13 million accumulated in the first two (2) days, and the number quickly made its way around the World  like it was made its way on the hot (American) charts in no time including, but certainly not limited to, The United States, United Kingdom and other influential key markets of the music industry- Jump.As demonstrated with iTunes it climbed to the number one position on the Top 100 songs chart its claimed number 1 in 60 countries and regions around the world.As if the weekend in Los Angeles weren’t exciting enough already, BLACKPINK opened the North American leg of their “Deadline” world tour with two sold-out performances at SoFi Stadium in front of 100,000 fans.The excitement reached a crescendo during the Sunday concert when none other than Bruno Mars made a surprise appearance and performed his most recent collaboration with BLACKPINK’s Rosé,APT.”.As if BLACKPINK doesn’t already have one of the many record breaking feats and genre-crossing sounds that you can think of–Jump brings not only another No.1 but a captivating new global chapter of adventures.
