BLACKPINK’s Lisa steals the limelight at Oscars 2025

The South Korean entertainment industry has been making headlines globally. Some years back, ‘Parasite’ became the first Korean film to bag an Oscar for best picture. This year, BLACKPINK’s Lisa brought K-pop representation to the annual ceremony.

The K-pop star took the stage at Oscars 2025 for an exceptional James Bond-themed performance. It is being speculated that the Oscars has started focusing more on the Korean entertainment industry amid the global K-content phenomenon.

This year, Lisa rocked a bespoke Margong tuxedo-inspired outfit. The ensemble consisted of a streamlined black tuxedo dress put on a long shirtdress, creating a fabulous silhouette. Flared black pants added a special touch to the entire look.

Conan O’Brien hosted the Oscars 2025 ceremony. Zoe Saldana has grabbed the trophy in the best supporting actress category. Sean Baker ruled the best director list. Numerous celebrities rocked intriguing outfits for the red carpet.
