BLACKPINK’s Rose has made it official regarding the release of her first solo studio album, set for December 6, 2024. The K-pop star announced the wonderful news through her social media platform the message she released to her fans.
In an emotional message to her audience, Rose described how she had come to making of this album. “I went to bed confused and lost many nights, However, with the help of the lovely friends and my family, my team and of course the number one, I am here today to let you know I am ready to release my album”.
The singer said that her real name is Roseanne Park and she was able to illustrate the idea behind the album more closely. My friends and family can call me Rosie; it’s the name I prefer. In this album I want all of you to feel closer to me as I was being fully open with my music, she said.
While Rose prepares for her solo debut, other BLACKPINK members are also pursuing individual projects:
The first of those is going to be the third single by Lisa, called “Moonlit Floor,” which will be out in October.
This same month, Jennie is also expected to release her music single “Mantra”.
The label, YG Entertainment, which manages BLACKPINK has declared that the quartet will indeed be back together in 2025.
The announcement has garnered huge attention from BLINKS, who are the audiences of BLACKPINK, to have Rose’s solo releases. Some of the songs that she has released in the past have been a blend of different musical talents and beautiful voice texture therefore a full album was expected.
