RAPUIR – A central Indian parents has named their twins after the deadly pandemic that continues to grip the world.
The baby boy and girl bornamid the current lockdown have been named Corona and Covid by their parents in an effort to put a positive spin on the deadly virus that is now sweeping the globe.
“I was blessed with the twins — a boy and a girl — We have named them Covid and Corona for now.”said their mother Preeti Verma.
Verma claims that they decided to name their newborn kids after the pandemic after overcoming dangerous and life changing obstacle they have encountered.
The twin were born on March 27, three days after Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the three week lockdown in India.
India currently has more than 2,300 cases of positive Covid-19 with total of 56 deaths.
