This global drift of K-pop has widened! The amazing audition project, ‘Click the Star, has officially launched from Korea into Indonesia and South America-all at once. This program is not only about forming K-pop girl groups but wider cultural connections with each country.
Click the star is a unique k-pop audition that will cover 32 countries. But this is not a traditional audition show. The girl group formed in every participating country will train and groomed according to the K-pop system but with the local flair.
From language to fanbase building, the K-pop project would be pushing itself into the culture of every country, as songs will be recorded both in the Korean and local languages, providing better access for fans.
All units of Blingone are set to debut using the exact same song, linking them all together in a global connection in music. Of course, joint concerts and even a world tour are in the works.
Proponents of market sustainability, through the World K-pop Center, have also complemented the initiative by planning the establishment of training centers abroad within each participating country. This avenue would eventually lead into exporting professional K-pop education to the glamour seekers and hopeful idols.
Are you a K-Pop fan? Would you love to get on the stage someday? Well, you might get a chance!
