Covid-19: Nine new cases recorded today

PUTRAJAYA – Malaysia has recorded nine new positive Covid-19 cases, bringing the total to 158 cases according to Health Ministry (MoH) director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

He said one of the new cases were related to the religious gathering in Sri Petaling, while the other were related to the first cluster, cases 26 and 33.

Dr Noor Hisham said among the participants on the Sri Petaling gathering who tested positive were from Sabah, Kuantan, Pahang, Kota Baru and Johor Baru.

“They already went back to their respective states, we announced that that one of the religious gathering attendees were tested positive and asked them to contact us so we can pick them up.” he told the reporters in an interview

Dr Noor Hisham also said that six patients were also discharged on Thursday (March 12).
