A powerful statement has been announced by Crunchyroll at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival 2025,
It was considered to be a bold statement delivered by Crunchyroll’s EVP of Global Commerce, Mitchel Berger walked the audience through the platform’s expanding impact over international entertainment. Also his presentation highlighted how anime which was previously confined to an underground fandoms is not a dominant force of the global pop culture that are streaming in theatres and on the online platforms, gaming and many more.
The 2025 slate of Crunchyroll was also rolled out by Berger and previewed two major titles “Metallic Rouge” a sci-fi action drama and “Anne Shirley” a heartfelt coming of age adaptation series. Both the series were screened during this prestigious film festival, Annecy and they showcased their commitment to quality storytelling and animation.

Multiple screenings have been scheduled throughout the week at the venue, Pathe 4. This film festival transformed as a launchpad for various types of their upcoming work which are presented to the audiences in an fulfilling way due to the creative collaborations.
