TBS Launches Brand New Crime Thriller ‘DOPE’ With Fresh Faces for Friday Slot!

A new drama ‘DOPE: Narcotics Control Department SpecialInvestigation Unit’ will be added on the Friday slot on the leading broadcaster of Japanese television TBS. The story revolves around the theme of crime action thriller and the story navigates in  the near future, when a new drug becomes popular in Japan. Yuto Saiki witnesses his mother who becomes addicted to the drug and ruins their peaceful life. All these traumatic past leads him to become a rookie narcotics agent to eradicate drugs. One day, he is suddenly transferred to a new place there at the Special Investigation Unit, he teams up with Teppei Jinnai. They both have totally different ways of thinking yet they solve mysterious cases together caused by dope.
