Dr. Noor Hisham, Health Ministry bags the BrandLaureate awards

PETALING JAYA – Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah has been named the Most Outstanding BrandLeadership by the BrandLaureate Awards in his effort and role in managing the Malaysia’s Covid-19 pandemic crisis.

The World Brands Foundation chairman Tan Sri Rainer Althoff and The World Brands Foundation founder and world president KK Johan presented the award to Dr. Noor. They also presented an award for Excellent Healthcare Service Provider to honour the frontliner’s commitment and dedication for those affected by Covid-19.

According to BrandLaureate, without their sacrifices and unrelenting tenacity, The country would not be able to flatten the curve and reduce the number of infection and deaths within the past three months.

Dr Noor Hisham through his Facebook account thanked the World Brands Foundation on behalf of frontliners who continues to work hard to stop the spread of the disease.

The Health Director General said that we witnessed the whole of government machinery and society work seamlessly hand in hand to fight this health crisis and that the tagline “Every sector is a health sector” can now be emulated by others. The Facebook post received over 45,000 reactions and 3,000 comments two hours after it was posted. Malaysian netizens flooded the comments with ongratulatory messages
