The Philippines is suspending all flights to the country from Wuhan, China, following an outbreak of the Chinese city’s 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV).

Advertising This was a decision reached by the Civil and Aeronautics Board, the Department of Health of Quarantine, the Department of Transportation, the Philippine Civil Aviation Authority and certain airline companies to prevent the spread of the virus in the region, according to a report on Unang Balita on Friday.

The study said the Bureau of Quarantine in Philippine airports is specifically tracking flights from China.

All passengers have been encouraged to fill in safety declaration cards, while airline staff have been asked to keep an eye out for symptomatic passengers. Officials have also required airlines to retain locator cards of their passengers
