Google Celebrates Nowruz 2025 with a Festive Doodle

Every year Google creates an animated design that celebrates Nowruz 2025 as a symbol of Persian New Year and spring beginning. For 3,000 years, people have preserved this tradition to share their new hopes and goals. Various peoples of Iran and Afghanistan celebrate their success at battling darkness with the holiday that marks the start of a new year in this part of the globe.

The Google Doodle shows how people celebrate Nowruz by displaying the traditional elements on a Haft-Seen table. This doodle showcases seven symbolic items, each representing prosperity, health, and rebirth. Groups of people create these elements to indicate that the festival will deliver good news in the form of fresh possibilities. The Google theme honors Nowruz’s strong cultural importance by showing its traditional customs.

Among all Iranian cultural practices, Chaharshanbe Suri stands out as the most cherished custom among people. By doing this custom people leave behind their past difficulties to step forward into their future success. People of the culture celebrate Nowruz by enjoying meals with family while sharing nice thoughts.

Through its special Doodle, Google demonstrates to people worldwide the importance of starting fresh with peace during this Persian holiday. All month, people worldwide celebrate New Year because these traditions bring genuine happiness that unites everyone.
