The South Korean Entertainment giant ‘HYBE’ who are behind the global success of K-Pop band BTS, is now planning to expand their musical footprints into the Indian Musical Industry by establishing the subsidiary in Mumbai by late 2025. Under their HYBE 2.0 initiative ‘Multi-Home, Multi-Genre’, they plan to localise their content and talent development across the key global markets in which Mumbai also plays the pivotal role. And India is a country with a dense population and the density of the younger generation is larger than the other nations in the world.
With the growing digital infrastructure and the vibrant music culture in India, this launch could be an ideal landscape for such expansion. The advanced artist training systems, global production standards, and cross-cultural collaborations are some of the influences which we can observe after its official arrival and it will open the doors for the Indian young talents to join the global stages of the diverse pop cultures.
