IPL Final 2025: BCCI has planned for a tribute to “Operation Sindoor”

IPL 2025 kicked off on 22 March 2025 between the Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bengaluru at Eden Gardens. This season was remarked as a tournament of Gen Bold and Gen Gold, because it showcased the battle between the established batsmen of all the regions and the rising young talents who debuted in IPL 2025. The unexpected border rift between the two nations India and Pakistan led to a war in which both the nations shared the missiles and drone attacks at the borders. India who executed their attacks at the terrorist camps located in Pakistan was titled as “Operation Sindoor”, which was dedicated to the Indian women who lost their family members due to the attacks executed by those terrorists.

Due to these tensions the game of IPL in India and PSL in Pakistan was halted for a week. And it restarted on 17 May 2025 and as per the schedule the final will be held on 3 June 2025 at Narendra Modi Stadium, Gujarat.

“We have extended an invitation to all Indian Armed Forces chiefs top-ranked officers and soldiers for the IPL final in Ahmedabad to celebrate the success of Operation Sindoor,” BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia

Sports is one of the strongest mediums in India where people connect easily with others and share their emotions without any external barriers.
