Istana Negara: Agong admitted to IJN

KUALA LUMPUR – Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah is currently receiving treatment at the National Heart Institute (IJN) since yesterday.

According to Comptroller of the Royal Household Datuk Ahmad Fadil Shamsuddin, Al-Sultan Abdullah’s is in a good condition and His Majesty is expected to be discharged from the hospital soon.

He said that Agong was admitted to the IJN Royal Ward yesterday after complaining that he is not feeling well. He has been advised that the doctors will monitor his condition for now.

He further added that Raja Permaisuri Agong, Tunku Hajah Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah, who was in Kota Bharu cancelled the vist and will be returning to be with Al-Sultan Abdullah. Istana Negara urged the people to pray for the recovery of His Majesty and continued good health.
