The Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) has successfully concluded its first Made for Trade Live roadshow in Tokyo, Japan1. This event marks a significant step in fostering collaboration between Dubai and Japan in the realms of Web3, AI, and gaming.
DMCC is already home to over 80 Japanese companies, representing 24% of Japanese business in the UAE1. The roadshow aimed to attract new firms within these cutting-edge industries to further complement the thriving tech ecosystem within DMCC.

The roadshow builds on the growing bilateral trade and investment relations between the UAE and Japan. Initiatives like the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Initiative (CSPI) and the Japan-UAE Coordination scheme for Advanced Technology (JU-CAT) exemplify the commitment to leveraging data and technology for mutual prosperity2.
