Julia Barretto denies pregnancy rumors

METRO MANILA – Actress Julia Barretto has shut down the pregnancy rumors by showing a photo of her toned abdomen in her official Instagram account.

The actress posted the photo on her Instagram account with the caption “FAKE NEWS :).”

The post were uploaded after former TV personality Jay Sonza in a Facebook post claimed that the actress was pregnant with Gerald Anderson’s child.

Sonza congratulated the actress in a part of his post “Congratulations to my neighbor in Congressional Village, Bahay Toro, Quezo City.” and that “After months of lockdown and ESQ, there is a baby in Julia’s womb.”

Star Magic, who is Julia Barretto’s talent management firm, also denied Sonza’s claim.

Netizens have condemned Sonza for the post with some women rights advocates urging the actress to file a case against Sonza. In 2019, Anderson and Barretto drew controversy after Gerald’s girlfriend actress Bea Alonzo broke up with Gerald and Barretto being the culprit.
