The French director and screenwriter Julia Ducournau is well-known for her striking and bold cinematic voice which reflects the shades of human emotions more intensely wrapped with genre-defying visuals. Fans of the chilling-thriller movie are buzzing for the new teaser of her upcoming 2025 movie “Alpha”.
The 43 seconds of teaser of ‘Alpha’ showcases the signature style of Julia’s filmmaking and the audience were able to trace out the storyline of the movie where a troubled teenager Alpha is struggling with her unbalanced emotions along with her single mom Maman. Her world gets darker after a significant day when she returns with a tattoo on her arm written ‘A’.
This movie premiered at Cannes Film Festival 2025 on 19 May 2025 (Monday) under the Palme d’Or category.
