GaGaGa SP, a youth punk band released a shocking statement on their official website, “Sad news. We would like to inform everyone who always supports GaGaGa SP bassist Kuwabara Yasunobu passed away from heart failure in the early hours of February 5th. He was 44 years old”.
“We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for the kindness shown to Kuwabara Yasunobu during his lifetime, and would like to join everyone in praying for the repose of his soul. We sincerely ask that all members of the media please be considerate of the deep grief of his family, relatives and band members, and refrain from interviewing those involved”, they added.
The popular guitarist Kuwabara took his last breath on Wednesday but fans came to know of his unforeseen demise on Friday through the official statement from the band. Fans and his friends are paying tribute to the iconic artist before his final procession.
“You lived a short life of 44 years, but you lived a fair life. You lived until you died, Kuwa-chan. Thank you so much. I will mourn for a while, but I will continue with Gagaga SP. I think that’s what Kuwa-chan would want” – Kozak Maeda
