MLC 2025 Qualifier: MI New York Sealed their Spot in Finals!

The much awaited Yellow and Blue jersey battle of TSK and MINY took place on 12 July 2025. With the cheers and wishes of the supporters for both the teams the MINY began their bowling after skipper Pooran won his toss. Faf gave hope by hitting the captain’s knock of 59 runs amidst the disappointing fall of back to back wickets of the top and middle order of TSK. Hosein’s 55 and Ferreira’s 32 runs bagged a fighting total of 166.

Storm that Ripped Off TSK’s Bowling Line!

TSK’s bowlers were happy and confident after taking the wickets of the top order batsman de Kock, Bracewell in just single digit runs and the intimidating Patel who was just one hit away from his half-century. Then came the dominant Caribbean cricketers Pollard and Pooran who ended the game with 6 balls left and built an anchored partnership of 99 runs off 58 balls. Massive sixes, and perfect placements of the boundaries left the bowlers of TSK with no clue to disrupt their partnership.
