The wave of hatred, vengeance, and rumours spread faster at the end it reaches the worst at an unexpected moment. It has been the same impact between the rift of Jake Paul and Mike Tyson. 

Jake Paul commenced his career as an YouTuber and he didn’t receive much recognition during the initial days but he cracked the magic factor to earn millions of subscribers for his YouTube channel. He then became an actor by appearing in the series ‘Bizaardvark’ of the biggest production house “Disney”. Then, he landed on a new profession “boxing” in 2018 in a white-collar boxing match and won using the technical knockout and in 2020 he made his debut in professional boxing. He has defeated many icons like Nate Robinson, Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley, and Anderson Silva. Thes victories turned him feel too much pride over himself. This ignited the rift with the former boxing champion Mike Tyson through the trash talks, personal challenges, and brash social media comments. Jake challenged him publicly for fight in a ring. It has been criticised by many that it is commercial motive of Jake Paul to double his viewership and make large sum of money.

  • The 58 year old, former boxing champion, Mike Tyson agreed to the challenge of Jake Paul on the social media.
  • The boxing match has been postponed for many times due to his health issues.
  • Initially, it was fixed on July 20, 2024 but this too was put off. Tyson has been instructed to take rest due to his age and the ulcer flare-up.
  • Finally, it was fixed on November 15, 2024 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
  • The fight had eight rounds and each scheduled in two minutes.
  • Mike Tyson was wearing a jacket with his nickname “Iron Mike”.
  • People were silent and mocked when Jake Paul entered to the ring.
  • The scores scored by Jake and Mike are 79-73, 80-72.
  • Punches given by Jake is 278 whereas Mike did only 97.
  • Jake Paul made a historical win by beating the World Champion Mike Tyson at the eighth round with heavy punches without any reciprocal reaction from the other side.

Post the match the gesture of both Jake and Mike Tyson seemed healthy and it has been appreacited by many of their fans. Jake bowed down to Mike Tyson and praised him as “GOAT”.

“Let’s give it up for Mike. Bro…. he’s a legend. He’s the great to ever do it. He’s the Goat. I look up to him, I’m inspired by him and we wouldn’t be here today without him. This man is an iconand it’s just an honor to be able to fight him. And he’s obviously the toughest, baddest man on the planet.” said Jake Paul, the 27 year old.
