Netflix Finalizes “Single’s Inferno 3” Panelists With A Former Contestant

Single’s Inferno is a dating reality show for Korean singles. Koreans search for a relationship on a deserted island. The last two seasons of the show captivated fans and introduced viewers to some of Korea’s rising stars.

The first season aired in December 2021. The last episode was aired on 10 January 2023. Netflix has officially renewed the dating show for a third season. 

In March, Single’s Inferno posted the casting call to finalize new people for the show. One contestant revealed that he signed a contract for the show through a Reddit thread. He wrote on Reddit, “At first I thought it was bizarre because I’m literally the diametrical opposite of everyone that has been on that show before: a white guy from LA who speaks Korean conversationally. Plus, I’m gay.” Later on, he signed the contract. He also revealed that the new season would be released in December. The last two seasons were also released in December.

According to reports, Netflix has now officially confirmed the panelists for the show’s upcoming season. Netflix also announced that a former contestant would return to the show. 

Lee Da Hee, a popular South Korean model and actress; Hong Jin Kyung, a famous South Korean entrepreneur, model, host, comedian and actress; Hanhae, a South Korean rapper and singer; and Kyuhyun, a South Korean singer, musical theatre actor and television host, would return as the panelists for the show’s upcoming season.

Kim Jin Young, a popular contestant during the show’s second season, has officially been confirmed to join the panelists. 

Netflix wrote on Instagram, “The studio just got hotter with our newest addition to the SINGLE’S INFERNO 3 MCs: Hong Jin-kyung, Lee Da-hae, KYUHYUN, HANHAE, and season 2 alumnus Dex now joining the other side!”

Fans expressed their excitement in the comments because of Kim Jin Young’s involvement in the new season.
