‘Aema’ is an upcoming Korean drama that will be streaming on Netflix this summer and they have launched its poster officially. It is a periodical drama with layers of biography set in the 1980s and the story is after a former pop star Heeran who has transformed as a entertainment mogul. She is accompanied by a rookie actress, Ju Ae during the journey. This drama will explore the world of Korean entertainment during the period where the culture called ‘Madame’ was dominating the industry. This culture refers to the powerful women who took over the industry to manage with their talent and influence behind the screen.
