Nogizaka46 6th Gen Documentary Premieres May 1 – A Three-Week Journey Begins

For Nogizaka46 fans, this May is going to offer a great opportunity to watch as their 6th Generation Members are featured in a brand new three-part documentary titled “Nogizaka46 6th Generation Limited Series.” The series will launch in three successive weeks on their official YouTube channel, Nogizaka Streaming, giving the fans in-depth insight into the early experiences of the new talents.

The journey started in February 2025 with the announcement of the new 6th Generation members who joined Nogizaka46. Since then, these new members were navigating through the healing and excitement of their debut time in Nogizaka46. The documentary followed these new members at a formative time in their journey and highlights their feelings, new beginnings and behind the scenes experiences.

The first episode airs on Thursday, May 1 at 9:00 PM JST. The episode features a music video for “Time Limit Unrequited Love”  a song on Nogizaka46’s 38th single, Navel Orange which came out on March 26, 2025.

This first episode is about making the music video and watching the members’ sincere reactions to shooting their first music video and when they ran into trouble during the video.

After their initial announcement, the 6th Generation members had their first on stage appearance at the “6th Generation First Performance” in April. They are also going to participate as members in the major live event for the group called “13th YEAR BIRTHDAY LIVE” taking place at Ajinomoto Stadium in Tokyo on May 17-18.

This documentary series gives fans a special chance to see how Nogizaka46’s newest members transition into the idol world. Be sure to check it out on May 1, with new episodes released every week on Nogizaka Streaming. ​
