One Piece Episode 1156 Release Date: The Elbaph Arc Begins!

After waiting for three months, One Piece fans are happy to see that the world-renowned anime series has finally returned with episode 1156 the start of the much-awaited Elbaph Arc. Episode 1156 of One Piece is a huge event in the climax of the Final Saga.

What is the Elbaph Arc?

The Elbaph Arc is bringing the Straw Hat Pirates to the legendary land of giants, Elbaph (or elbaf). The land of giants has been teased since earlier arcs of One Piece and has ties to Norse mythology as well as key lore about the roles that giants played throughout history. Episode 1156 will adapt from chapters of the One Piece manga that begin at about Chapter 1126, introducing three major things for fans: epic battles, ancient secrets, and possible connections to Shanks that could change Luffy’s entire journey.

Toei is expected to deliver stunning animation to portray giant-sized battles and the arrival of the Straw Hat Pirates in a nation filled with political intrigue. Unlike the previous arcs in One Piece that were shorter in length, this arc will span two courses (13 episodes each), leaving fans waiting for more content from Elbaph for almost one year with no mid-cour breaks.

The opening of episode 1156 begins with an exciting visual experience as the Straw Hat Pirates are at the Elbaph docks, greeted by the giant warrior race.
