one piece season 3

The big question among the fans of the live-action version of One Piece is already: Will Season 3 of One Piece come to Netflix Philippines (Netflix PH)? The answer to this is yes–but not in the near future. This is the recent confirmed news regarding the next volume of the Straw Hat book.

Netflix has officially confirmed the existence of season 3

Netflix has already solidified & announced the live-action One Piece series Season 3 after the extreme commercial success of seasons 1 and 2 worldwide. Even before the release of Season 2, in August 2025, it was announced that it would be renewed again.

The series is based on the legendary comic books of Eiichiro Oda and was still in the quest of Monkey D. Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates as they seek the mythical treasure the one piece.

Owing to the fact that Netflix distributes its own production both in the United States and on international markets at once, Season 3 of the series will also become accessible in the Philippines on the very same day as it is released everywhere.

Season 3 of one piece: When will it come out?

Currently, Netflix has not set an official release date of Season 3. But, their production updates provide a rough timeline. It started being shot in November 2025 at Cape town, South Africa. The last season premiered over a year after shooting.

According to that schedule, the release date is predicted to be at the end of 2027 or the first half of 2028. It took place in March 2026 (almost 3 years) since the release of Season 1 to give some context. So Season 3 is certainly coming, but it will take a few years for Philippine viewers to get it.

What Story Will Season 3 Adapt?

The 3rd season is presumed to concentrate on one of the most significant plotlines in comic and anime Arabasta (Alabasta) Arc.

In this arc:

  • Members of the Straw Hat crew go to the desert kingdom of Alabasta.
  • They are trying to prevent a civil war that is threatening the nation.
  • The anti-twins Crocodile, powerful villain, and criminal clan Baroque Works are put in the limelight.

This is the plot that also offers such significant characters as Portgas D. Ace, the brother of Luffy, and is why it is a favorite in the series among the fans.

Returning Cast Members

The season 3 is most likely to feature a reappearance of the core Straw Hat crew:

  • Iñaki Godoy as Luffy
  • Mackenyu as Zoro
  • Emily Rudd as Nami
  • Jacob Romero Gibson as Usopp
  • Taz Skylar as Sanji

The cast is also likely to be served by several other new characters and villains from the Arabasta saga.

Will Netflix PH Grab It Simultaneously?

Yes. One Piece being a Netflix original is released across the world at the same time. This implies that the Filipino viewers will be able to stream Season 3 as soon as the rest of the world.

In the meantime, the fans will be able to view or review the first two seasons until they see the next travelling of the Straw Hats.
