MANILA – PBA commissioner Willie Marcial confirmed that Makati Medical Center contacted them late Monday regarding the available dates for swab testing scheduled for PBA players, coaches, staff and in trainers participating on the practice session that be commenced on August 6-7.
The available dates given will delay PBA activities for another two weeks. Those who will undergo the swab test will need to wait for the results which would be given after two days before the league will give a go signal to participate on the practice sessions.
Last Monday, PBA and the Philippine Football League were given a letter from the heads of the Games and Amusements Board, the Philippine Sports Commission and the Department of Health allowing them to resume trainings.
All of league swab testing will be done by batches. Marcial said that Barangay Ginebra San Miguel, San Miguel Beer and Magnolia Hotshots will be excluded on the list as San Miguel Corporation has its own testing facilities for Covid-19
