Popular comedian Abam Bocey dies

PETALING JAYA – Malaysian comedian Syed Umar Mokhtar Syed Mohd Redzuan also known as Abam Bocey passed away earlier this morning at home in Gombak.

The popular comedian died from high fever. He was 32 years old.
Ali Puteh, Abam’s younger brother confirmed that he complained of his fever and headache two days but doesn’t want to go to the hospital as it was just a normal fever and headache.

Abam leaves behind his wife, Nor Hidayah and and seven-month old son Syed Uthman Hamzah Al-Juffrey Syed Umar Mokhtar Al-Juffrey.
Abam rose to fame as part of the comedic group Bocey and was best known for his tagline ‘Fat is Ohsem’.
