PUI for COVID-19 in PH arises at 441 today

As of Thursday morning the Philippines reported 33 additional suspected cases of coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19), data from the Department of Health (DOH) reveal.

Advertising This brings the total, cumulative number of persons under investigation (PUIs) to 441 in the country—230 of them are currently admitted to different hospitals and 206 others have been discharged that yielded negative results for the virus infection.

In the meantime, health authorities had announced the deaths of two PUI’s.

On the other hand, following treatment two out of the three who tested positive were discharged. Sadly the remaining one who had been diagnosed with COVID-19 died while in Manila’s San Lazaro Hospital.

Metro Manila has the highest number of suspicious cases with 80 admitted.
