Our healthcare workers feel the love!

The St. Luke’s Medical Center’s ER staff in Bonifacio Global City expressed their gratitude for receiving food from the Rue Bourbon Restaurant.

Their heartfelt thanks go to restaurant Rue Bourbon for sending food to their ER employees. This small act of kindness gives their health-care staff a great deal. This gesture reflects how they value their efforts in this difficult time.

They also thanked the nearby branch of Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf for offering them on-house coffee.

Earlier on Malingap Street in Quezon City, Pino Restaurant and its vegetarian sister Pipino, and their other sibling Pi Breakfast and Pies also offered free and unlimited coffee to all academic medical workers and scientists.

On Thursday the government raised the Code Red Sub-2 alert due to the country’s increasing number of COVID-19 infections.

As part of a “group quarantine” in Metro Manila, President Rodrigo Duterte declared stricter steps to tackle the spread of COVID-19 including job and class suspensions as well as travel restrictions.
