Having been aired in Japan, the second season of Shangri-La Frontier has just been completed, and people are already hashtagging the next season on social media. The good news? The journey isn’t over! The anime is officially confirmed for the third season, propelling fans into a frenzy of excitement about the action to come. The gripping second season was aired in two parts from October 2024 to March 2025. The series has given birth to life by dramatizing various arcs from Ryosuke Fuji’s widely acclaimed manga-anime-underappreciated beauty, directed by Toshiyuki Kubooka, who also produced the acclaimed series Handyman Saitou in Another World. It is reportedly produced under another major collaboration of talent: Kazuyuki Fudeyasu wrote the scripts (also for That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime), character designs were by Ayumi Kurashima, and music was by MONACA.

Fans are uploading their reactions to social media; one said, “Shangri-La Frontier S3 LET’S GOOO!!! More broken gear, more chaos, and… a bowtie??” Another stated, “So, they’re postponing the GGC arc authoritatively until next season, huh…?” And one more said: “Does anyone know when the new season is coming out?
