Spring Festival & New Year 2025 High Speed Rail Tickets

Taiwan Railway has announced the rail tickets and Spring Festival 2025 and the ticket reservations schedule. For the early bird the ticket discount is 12% off for two tickets per month. The passengers are instructed to buy the ‘China Travel Coupon Ticket’ to choose the Taiwan High Speed Rail and the 15% ticket off. These coupons can be purchased at Klook, KKday, Yiyou.com, ibon, Xiong purchase attraction.

The ticket booking timing is for two days from December 26 and December 27,2024. The Taiwan Railway Company’s 2025 Spring Festival is from January 25 to February 2,2025. The timing for the ticket booking starts from 0.00 on December 26 which is applicable only for Eastern Main Line which includes Yilan Line, Northern Circle Line, Huadong Line, Southern Circle Line and Cross-line trains from January 23 to February 23, 2025. People can also book the tickets on the online website of Taiwan Railways or use the official Taiwan Railways app “Taiwan Railway e-booking” or it is available in 7-11 Uni-President supermarket, FamilyMart, Lairfu, OK Supermarkets.

They have also announced the precautions during the Spring Festival Ticket Booking

1.In order to improve the efficiency of the ticket booking 20 hours a day 0.00 to 00.30 the next day, the ‘quick’ and ‘complete’ booking pages will be suspended. Only passengers can use the “Performance Edition Booking” webpage to booking.

2.During the aforementioned period (23.50 to 00.30) the next day remaining ticket inquiries, online payments, ticket booking convenience, online ticket exchange, Tengyun cabin meal selection will be suspended.

3.Use the area’s webpage for Hualien and Taitung areas through “Hualien Area Real-Name System” and “Real-Name System for Working Overtime During Holidays”.
