Taichung Shin Kong Mitsukoshi gas explosion swallowed one and 4 injured: Shocking Causes?

Taichung City has met with an unfortunate event which occurred on February 13, 2025 (Thursday) around noon. According to the given reports a powerful gas explosion took place at the Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Taichung Zhonggang store, located in Xitun district. During this tragic event as of the 12.30 report one person has died and nine has been injured severely. The fire department stated the cause of the explosion could probably be because of the demolition of the decorations on the 12th floor.

The report stated by Taiwan’s United News Network discloses the plight of the individual who was found dead, half of his face was blown off. Immediate rescue measures are taken care of by the fire department and the injured people are sent swiftly to the emergency section of the nearby hospital. But the real cause of the accident is still under investigation. The Taichung CIty government has issued a quick emergency notice stating that a gas explosion occurred at the Shin Kong Mitsukoshi and on the surrounding roads complete control has been taken over.
