Thailand Weather Forecast: Cool Mornings, Foggy Skies and Light Rain Ahead

The weather prediction for the next 24 hours in Thailand indicates that the mornings of most areas in the northern part of the country will be cool and foggy, while the cold weather will be still covering the North and Northeast. A weak high-pressure system is affecting the atmosphere of the area, as reported by the scientific team of the Thai Meteorological Department, and this is resulting in the low visibility in the mentioned regions. The weather prediction for Thailand is also indicating light rain in very few places on the eastern coast, where the sea conditions in the Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea are anticipated to be mostly calm. The authorities have recommended people to be constantly alert, to be very careful with their health as the temperature fluctuates, and to be very careful during the rains and fogs when travelling.

Foggy Mornings and Regional Weather Outlook

According to the Thai Meteorological Department, the regions of North, Northeast, Central Plains and Bangkok will experience cool to cold mornings along with fog. The mountain tops will probably be very cold and the Thailand weather forecast states that the westerlies from Myanmar and the easterlies over the East could bring about brief light rain especially close to the coast.

A weak northeast monsoon in the South may bring about scattered showers, while the Gulf and Andaman Sea are expected to have about one-meter-high waves. The Thailand weather forecast overall recommends motorists, farmers, and marine operators to be careful since the dry conditions also heighten the fire risks.
