The Sapporo FC has announced their new manager for the Upcoming J2 League

J2 League is termed as the second division of the Japan Professional Football League which was founded in 1999. This league has been widely celebrated by the Japanese football fans all these years passionately because it features around twenty two teams who represent the popular cities of Japan. The teams who bag the top two slots will be taken into the tier-1 football league ‘J1 League’ and the teams who are at the bottom of the table will participate in the third-tier league match ‘J3’.

New Manager for “Sapporo FC”

Fans are eagerly waiting for the commencement of the 2025 edition of “J2 League” which is sponsored by Meiji Yasuda Life is scheduled on February 15, 2025 and the season lasts till the November with 38 rounds in total. Updates are popping up everyday regarding the league, on Thursday a spectacular announcement has been unveiled by the Sapporo FC. The 43-year old football manager of Kashima & Hanoi FC and the former football player of Kashima, Daiki Iwamsa will be joining the Sapporo FC as the new manager in J2 League 2025.

It is reported that the team Sapporo FC is competing in this prestigious J2 League in 2025 edition for the first time in nine years. 

“This is the biggest challenge I could ever have. I will carry on the football we have played up until now and move forward. I think I can do that”, said Daiki during the press conference which took place at Yamato House Premist Dome.

Daiki replaces the current Sapporo FC’s manager Mihailo Petrovic who served seven years and is retiring with this year’s season.
