UAE expands international cooperation at UN Sustainable Development Forum

The UAE recently participated in the 2025 High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) on Sustainable Development, organised by the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs at the UN headquarters in the US.

It must be emphasized that the UAE’s participation reaffirms the country’s commitment to building strong international partnerships, bolstering global development cooperation and accelerating progress on the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and beyond.

During its participation in the Forum, the UAE expanded international cooperation, bolstering bilateral relations for a better future for all. The Emirati delegation took part in more than 25 significant gatherings.

UAE committed to building more resilient systems for the future

During its participation at the 2025 High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) on Sustainable Development, the UAE delegation also held more than 48 bilateral meetings featuring representatives from a number of countries, organisations and UN bodies.

The UAE explored better methods to accelerate progress in the direction of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Key discussions included policy innovation, government excellence and sustainable development strategies.

The Forum also analysed global progress on a number of SDGs, including those related to good health, gender equality, economic progress and partnerships for the goals. The UAE is committed to building more resilient systems for the future.
