Sports is one such profession where an individual announces their retirement even before their forties. It might be a pricking decision yet it is made solely out of concern and also the reasons or even the age might change. Today, Indian cricket is bidding a goodbye to a wonderful all-rounder ‘Veda Krishnamurthy’ from her professional career forever.
Veda stepped into the world of cricket through the doors of the domestic team in 2009 and in 2015 she got her name into the contract list of Indian Women’s team B-grade. Following that she debuted in both the ODI and T20 format in 2011.
With more than the decades of experiences as an all-rounder she has decided to step down from her career,
“It’s time to say goodbye to playing, but not to the game. Always for India. Always for the team.” – Veda Krishnamurthy.
