There were simultaneous welcome ceremonies in 55 strategic points of entry all over the country indicating an all-of-nation strategy. This joint opening highlighted the Malaysian spirit of ensuring that the international visitors have a warm and easy arrival experience.

Visit Malaysia 2026: More Than a Tourism Campaign

Through the campaign of welcoming travellers during the first day of the year, Malaysia reiterated its commitment to provide inclusive, creative, and memorable tourism experiences in the entire year 2026.

Strong Industry and Corporate Collaboration

These celebrations taking place all across the country were made possible as a result of a tight partnership between the federal and state governments, airlines, airports, and the tourism stakeholders. Corporate partners donated vouchers, food and beverage items, souvenirs and discounts at the attractions. These joint activities made the process of arrival even better and also revealed how hospitable Malaysia is and its various tourism products as part of Visit Malaysia 2026.
