One of the significant tournaments of this year’s cricket schedule is ‘Women’s T20 Pentangular Series’ which is taking place completely in Japan. This tournament is organised with the collaborative work of Japan Cricket Association (JCA) and Asian Cricket Council (ACC). And this series comprises ten league matches followed by playoff and final. With the aim of promoting and providing a platform for cricket in the regions of East Asia by taking part on the international stage JCA and ACC togetherly took the initiative efficiently.
Women’s T20 Pentangular Series 2025 began on 3 June 2025 and it will end on 8 June 2025. Two more league matches are left in the series and the teams who are with high RR (Run Rate) and points will be selected for playing the 3rd Place Playoff and Final.
The teams who are finishing the league stage at 1st and 2nd position will be qualified for ‘Women’s T20 Pentangular Series’ Final. The teams at 3rd and 4th position will be competing for the 3rd place by taking part in the “3rd Place Playoff”. Then, a question may arise: which teams are qualified? Still two more games are left and with its end we all might get a clear vision regarding this. Let us look at the current position of the women’s teams after eight league matches.
