From February 11–15, 2026, the Singha Park International Balloon Fiesta 2026 will transform the skyline of Chiang Rai into a vibrant canvas. This high class event in Singha Park marks its 10 th anniversary, and is poised to be the biggest in ASEAN. Over 30 magnificent hot air balloons from 13 different countries, including the US, UK, Japan, and France, will take flight, drawing tourists from across the globe.
There will be a strong itinerary beyond the visual individuality of the balloons because the five-day festival will be full of activities. They can also look forward to the spectacular light and sound displays known as the Magic Night Glow where guests can see the night tethered balloons. It is also characterized by a rare and massive outdoor Khon performance (Ramakien epic) of more than 200 performers, which is a combination of traditional Thai culture and modern entertainment.
Romance and Adventure at Singha Park
The festival strategically spans Valentine’s Day, reinforcing Chiang Rai’s status as a “World Class Love Destination.” A highlight of the Singha Park International Balloon Fiesta 2026 is the romantic “Balloon Love” activity on February 14, where selected couples can register their marriages mid-air.
Festivities on the ground are also quite involving, as food stalls, street art and performances of famous Thai artists make it look like a carnival. To the visitors, this is an evental photo opportunity coupled with a full cultural affair that helps in developing the local economy and also attracting the cool-season look of Northern Thailand.
