Da Nang International Fireworks Festival is back for 2026 with the largest edition yet. This world-famous summer event will bring an awesome display of utilizing the massive pyrotechnic battle, live music and a newly designed Mega Dome stage on the Han River water-front in Da Nang.
This year, DIFF 2026, which will be held under the Banner “Da Nang – Connected Horizons”, will have 10 fireworks teams from nine countries competing. This series of shows follow a theme each event night giving a combination of cultural storytelling, synchronized fireworks and music performances. The gates are typically open around 5:00 PM and the fireworks competitions start when live entertainment events start in the evening.
Opening night is Vietnam against China in the “Nature” category, and on the final day of the competition on July 11 the final two teams will battle for the championship, with the team with the most points getting to enjoy its victory.
There are also shows from France, Japan, Italy, Germany, Macau, Australia and Portugal in 2026 which ensures the festival is truly international.
