For the 2026 Singapore Grand Prix, an unusual crossover between Formula 1, K-pop and anime will see K-Pop star Tzuyu descend on Singapore. The TWICE member has been revealed as the singer of an official collaboration theme song between the Atlassian Williams F1 Team and Japanese anime series DAN DA DAN. Tzuyu will visit the team’s Fan Zone in Singapore from October 8, before the race weekend on October 9–11.
Tzuyu Singapore Visit: What Is the F1-Anime Collaboration?
The Tzuyu Singapore visit is linked to the Williams F1 and DAN DA DAN project, which is a mix of motorsport, anime and music.
Tzuyu will have the opportunity to record the collaboration’s official theme song and a music video. The song and video will be released in early 2027, prior to the Japanese Grand Prix. Williams said the aim of the project was to link the project team’s emphasis on speed with the supernatural aspect of DAN DA DAN.
First launched at the 2026 Japanese Grand Prix, the undertaking has already encompassed unique merchandise, the Sector Zero fan platform and activations at Anime Expo in Los Angeles.
Why Tzuyu Was Chosen
Tzuyu will take an international K-pop fanbase to the album. Her debut with TWICE was in 2015 and in 2024, she released her EP abouTZU.
She is, in Williams’ own words, the voice of the new theme for the collaboration while the project has an F1 and anime crossover, she adds a music element. Tzuyu has also expressed her excitement about bringing Formula 1, anime and music together.
