Angelina Jolie Reportedly Planning Hollywood Exit: “She Was Happiest Traveling the World”

Celebrated actor and activist Angelina Jolie is apparently getting ready for a major life transition. The Academy Award-winning star intends to permanently leave Hollywood and the United States behind, according to OK! Magazine, but only following the turning eighteen of her younger children, twins Knox and Vivienne. Sharing six children with her former spouse Brad Pitt, Jolie has long dreamed of living somewhere other than Los Angeles so she may once more follow her passion for travel and cultural immersion.

Maddox, 23; Pax, 20; Zahara, 19; Shiloh, 18; and Knox and Vivienne, 16 have been at the focus of Jolie’s existence. Although she has embraced her roles in movies and charitable work, a source close to the star claimed that her greatest happiness has always come from seeing the globe with her family. “She was happiest when she and the kids moved and lived in different places,” the person said.

A Travelling Spirit

Jolie has always been known for her wandering and adventurous nature. Her obligations have, however, kept her rooted in the United States in recent years, especially in New York City, where she spent much of 2024 producing the Broadway rendition of The Outsiders. Her professional activities in New York were rewarding, but they also made clear her yearning for the freedom to travel the globe.

Jolie candidly considered her family’s particular background and the principles she has tried to inculcate in her kids. “You want your big family to have privacy, peace, and safety,” she remarked. “I have a house now to raise my children, but occasionally this place can be… that humanity that I found across the world is not what I grew up with here.”

Since all six of Jolie’s children were born outside of the United States, she has urged them to follow their interests and create their own paths anywhere they might lead. “She wants the kids to travel anywhere they like,” the insider said. “She thinks life is about exploring, learning, and really immersing yourself in novel surroundings.”

Plans for a European relocation

Jolie apparently plans to base her life in Europe once her children become adults. The actress has talked of her love for the rich history, culture, and slower tempo of life of the continent. She already has a network of acquaintances in Europe, according to a person close to her, which will facilitate the move. “She has pals in Europe but is a somewhat lonesome person. Once her children are grown, she will find travel and settling simpler.

The change would enable Jolie to rediscover her love of travel, a feature of her early years. Jolie frequently brought her kids to other nations so they may see many cultures and ways of life while she was growing them. She now looks forward to recovering that part of her identity as she gets ready for a fresh chapter.

Links to Hollywood and Conundrums

Jolie’s professional obligations and personal situation have kept her bound to Hollywood, even if she longs to escape. Her next movie Maria has attracted a lot of Oscar buzz this year, hence she is always on the circuit for the Oscars. Her more frequent visits to Los Angeles have apparently strained her already tense relationship with Brad Pitt.

Insiders say Pitt finds Jolie’s increased profile in the city unsettling. “The idea that she’s marching around town like she’s the queen bee really bothers him,” a source told OK! Magazine. “Brad’s used to be the toast of awards season every year, but having Angelina here causes some discomfort.”

Their well-publicized divorce and custody disputes have simply made their interactions more complicated. Although Jolie is ready to keep some distance from Pitt, her present projects have postponed her intentions to travel overseas.

A New Beginning and Personal Release

For Jolie, leaving Hollywood is about embracing a life consistent with her ideals and objectives as much as with physical migration. She apparently sees the relocation as a chance to start over away from the scrutiny of the entertainment business and the emotional weight of her past.

“She is ready for a change,” the insider said. “She wants to center on her, her interests, and the events that make her happy. It’s about her rediscovering that feeling of adventure and freedom she has always loved.

Jolie is dedicated to the welfare and success of her children even as she looks ahead. Her perseverance and will to live truly inspire whether through her humanitarian initiatives, artistic endeavors, or personal life.

As Jolie satisfies her present responsibilities, fans should expect her to be still engaged in Hollywood for now. But the idea of Angelina Jolie starting a fresh chapter elsewhere gives her already complex path a fascinating depth. Being among Hollywood’s most recognizable personalities, her next moves will enthrall viewers all across.
