“Boyhood” : Coupang Play Officially Renews the Hit Series’ Second Season!

Coupang Play officially confirmed on 20 June 2025, regarding the commencement of the production work for the second season of their superhit, record-breaking K-Drama ‘Boyhood’. This pre-production work has been initiated after the immense success of the previous season which was premiered from 24 November to 22 December 2023. 

Boyhood – Season 1

The first season of ‘Boyhood’ is centred around a rural farming high school, where Jang Byung-tae, a timid and a bullied student in 1989 has been transferred to another school. There he come across multi-layered emotional parts of his teenage life including friendships, fights, and the coming-of-age struggles. And all the sequences looks more natural because of these stars who did so real by evoking the emotions of viewers with ease.

Boyhood – Season 2

This brand new second season will bring the audience with all the hypes, fresh twists, shifted narratives which will be set in the seaside fisheries high school. Regarding the cast and crew details the production team haven’t revealed it elaborately but it has been teased that there will be a completely new set of actors and actresses to be roped into this successful drama.
