BRI KUR – IDR 175 Trillion has been distributed to MSME debtors

Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) is a bank which is governed by the state of Indonesia and the key feature of this bank is to aid the small and micro businesses with affordable loans which is named as KUR (Kredit Usaha Rakyat). The Indonesian microcredit Program named ‘BRI KUR’ has distributed IDR 175.66 trillion to 3.7 million MSME (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) debtors and the complete loan amount of BRI KUR has also been released on monday.

“Through KUR, we not only provide financing, but also empower MSMEs to be able to grow more sustainably”, said BRI Micro Business Director Supari.

There are three types of BRI KUR program,

  • KUR Micro – Micro entrepreneurs (small capital needs)
  • KUR Retail – Entrepreneurs who are in need of a loan for little larger businesses
  • KUR TKI – Individuals who are willing to work as migrant workers in abroad (Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Brunei, Japan, South Korea, and Malaysia)

How to Apply for BRI KUR?

The desired applicants/entrepreneurs can apply through online or offline mode. The process for online mode for BRI KUR loan is as follows.

Step 1: Go to kur.bri.co.id portal and click the option “Apply for loan

Step 2: Create an account if you are new to it by clicking the option “Register” and give the required details.

Step 3: If you have created an account previously then given your email & password.

Step 4: Read all the terms and conditions before proceeding

Step 5: Then you can click “I am a BRI customer” following that click “Agree and apply for loan

Step 6: Click “I am not a robot”

Step 7: Complete the process by filling all the required Personal details including Name, address, and others)

Step 8: Fill – type of business, income, business costs, BRI account number and others

Step 9: Upload documents such as KTP (Knowledge Transfer Partnership), Business certificate, Passport Photo, & Business Photo

Step 10: Click “Next”. Then you will be taken into the application page and fill the application data (Application amount and tenor)

Step 11: Then click “Calculate installments” and see the amount to be paid for instalments.

Step 12: Finally click the option “Apply for a loan”.

Step 13: After that, a page requires information whether the loan has been approved or not.

After completing all these processes, customers will undergo a physical survey and they must visit the nearest BRI office for the next process in which the customer has to sign the document. It is reported that the KUR loan has increased the income of the debtor from 32 to 50 percent.
